Working & Architecture for Quad Beam Detector solution:

  • The solution works in a form of Quad photoelectric beam detectors
  • A virtual IR wall will be created on/inside the Boundary of the site covering the complete perimeter.
  • Rigid Poles need to fixed for the beam detectors at multiple locations.
  • Control panels is installed at a central location (may be Security room or Monitoring station) which is connected wired/wireless to get intrusion alert/local alarms in case any other alternative solution is required that can be integrated. Ex: lights trigger.
  • Every control panel will be connected to multiple Zone expanders placed in the field in Daisy Chain style covering the whole perimeter.
  • Control panel and Zone Expanders will be connected using at least 6 core 0.75, 1 & 1.5 sq. mm copper conductor cable depending on the site area.
  • A Zone expander will be placed at every 150 m with local power supply enclosed in a Weatherproof Enclosure.
  • A Quad Beam detector will be placed depending the perimeter line of sight to detect any kind of intrusion.
  • Quad beam detectors will be connected to the nearest Zone expanders deployed in the field using 8 core 1.5 sq. mm copper conductor cable for monitoring Alarm, Tampering, Environmental Disqualification.
  • Multiple Sounders will be placed in the field for Audio Alarms, detectors can be integrated with PTZ cameras (if available at site) for  triggering in case of intrusion.
  • A 220V power cable will run along the perimeter for providing power supply to the Zone expanders & Beam detectors for the perimeter.
  • The Quad Beam Detectors required clear line of sight so no vegetation or trees should come in between the range of the detectors.
