Small Cells

Small cells fall into one of three general categories that are dictated by their power level:  metrocells , picocells  and femtocells. General performance measures for each category are shown in the table below:.

Small cells not only improve cellular coverage, capacity of use and applications for homes and enterprises as well as metropolitan and rural public spaces, but also facilitate a new breed of mobile service that exploits the technology’s ability to detect presence, connect and interact with existing networks. In addition, small cells are easy to install and are able to leverage the existing broadband network to form signal coverage. Above benefits make small cells prominent in present and future telecommunications market layout.
RK Telesystem provides not only 3G small cells (WCDMA/TDSCDMA), but also the latest 4G small cells (LTE-FDD/LTE-TDD) as mainstream products. In addition, RK Telesystem also offers customers integrated services related to small cells, such as integrating WiFi, router, GPON and other technologies into the small cells, and also provides small cell service manager.
Multi-mode Small Cell

This product is a small cell product that serves 3G (TD-SCDMA) , 4G (TD-LTE), and WiFi clients at the same time. Multi-mode small cell is unlike FDD-LTE/TD-LTE Small Cells. It servers 3G, 4G and WiFi in one box. RK Telesystem can provide different bands and RAT technologies for small cells, but aiming at this product is for band 34 & 39 of TD-SCDMA and for band 41 of TD-LTE and for Enterprise.

FDD-LTE Small Cell
This product is a pluggable FDD-LTE small cell module that can plug to a based unit like a DSL router or GPON router.  It can also plug to another pluggable unit like an IoT (Internet of Thing) module. The concept of product design is like Lego to have different features by different combinations. For example, the module can plug to an IoT module or a DSL router.
RK  Telesystem can provide different bands for small cells, but aiming at this product is only for band 1 and for homes.
